It was the 2nd last day of Chinese New Year. As usual, my uncle will have its lion dance at his house. Normally it will be raining, but fortunately this year not. It was a fun day as alot of people participated in the event and a great honor for me to capture this wonderful momment.

Its time for Food & Furious TV show!!

Now, please welcome, our host, Mr & Mrs Lion!!
For today, they are going to teach the crowd to make mixed vegetable and fruits!

Mr Lion: Yeah, and let me introduce some of our ingredients. To cook mixed vegetable and fruits, of course we'll need vegetable!

Mrs Lion: And some fruits too!

Mr & Mrs Lion: The secret of the secret ingredient, brought to us from generation to generation, is too add ice into the recipe.

Mrs' Lion: Not forgetting some mandarin oranges for decorative purposes.

Mr Lion: After the ingrediant has been added up all together, its time to lid up the cooker.

Mrs Lion: As we cook, we'll need to add.....Ei, uncle, thats not for consume, its to add in to the dish!

Uncle: Realli???

Mr Lion: It's time for a break, we will be back shorty.

Sorry for missing in action for quite sometime. Especially to my readers. For those who doesn't know what happened, let me tell u guyz now. I have been retrench from Motorola on 31st December 2008. The laptop has been returned to the company, and have to clean up the mess of those files. The laptop that I used to have at home is a little slow
for photo editing, so got a little discouraged to edit and post. Moreover have to help out during CNY preperation. Anyhow, I'm alrite and thanks for the concern guyz. Will start posting from now on. Not going to continue the story but will still share some photos for jack & mel wedding.

Last but not least I wish everyone Happy Niu Year, for those who has business, I wish them prosper in their business this year, and others I wish you guyz stay healthy. :D

-Jack & Mel Wedding : Transformation-

Yo, as promised will upload the photos of Jack & Mel wedding. Not much post processing of the photos, please let me know if the photos aren't good, so that I can improve. :D

I was the official photographer for the day. Although I'm not that pro, but its a good opportunity for me to learn how to command, posing etc etc. I'm on my own this time as there is no one to baby feed me anymore. I must admit that the tea ceremony photos aren't that good as those are not under my control. Hopefully can shoot for more couples for their wedding, and thank you for those believing me for your most important day.

And now for the photo session, and some little story. :D

After waiting for so long, its d day for Mel.
She has to look perfect. Anything ugly must be covered.

So lets go through the transformation process.

Prerequisite for transfomation:
Item 1: Make up powders

Item 2: Wedding gown

Item 3: Nice Sandles from 'Nose'
If the brand name is based on the name of the creator, I would love to meet em. :D

The transformation process has just begun!
Step 1: Cover the panda eyes.

Step 2: Trim the nails and polish it. If not tonite the husband gonna suffer. :D

Step 3: Straighten the hair. So that it won't look like 'Crazy Chicken Female'.

Step 4: Tighten the gown so that the extra stuff wont be seen.

Almost there.
Step 5: Some little touch up before complete.

Finally its done. She's also amazed by the transformation, can't resist to hav a picture of herself.

The traditional ginseng tea, make from various types of herbs and has been boil for 7 7 49 days.

And lastly, blessings from the parents.

My eyes were barely open when I wrote this post. I was thinking just upload the photos, and only write the remaining tomorrow. Can I? :p

Well, its Christmas! And its my mom's birthday as well. Got her a watch and spend her a dinner at canton-i (why not mandarin-i, hokkien-i). Seriously the siew yuk (aka roast pork) is really good. The skin is crispy! Erm, I'm a little bit blur now and this is not what I suppose to blog.

Ok, back to the topic. I woke up @ 12pm, thats Mafia aka Kok Fai give me call, if not I will still be sleeping. It was quite sometime since I woke up so late. After I've done my last minute shopping @ jusco for frauline's dad gift, then pick up my girlfriend, we (Me,gf,Stella,Franzen,Angela,Mafia) headed to frauline's place. We hang out for a couple of hours before we leave. Here are some photos that I would like to share with you guyz. ;D Those who are 'involved' in the photo, please do ask me for a full copy if you think the photo is nice. Sekian.

Its been a week that I didn't update my blog. It was a tiring weekend and my house stupid screamyx connection fails. Was outdated for 2 days. Haha, life without internet sucks rite?

Well, it was a busy weekend. Friday night dinner @ Mel's house for the hens night, but guess what? Jack was there too! I was like @.@"

It is the country M election day.

Here are some highlights of the preparation before the actual day

It is a busy day and lotsa volunteers to help out.

After few hours of voting and calculations of the votes has been done, they have the results

Here is the announcer, and..

Yeah yea, I know you are happy, but please control your celebration ok?

I have been looking for this lens for about 2 weeks. Went to Sg, Wang, Lowyat Plaza, Times Square, Midvalley, 1 Utama, and most of them do not have stock in hand. Some of the shops at Lowyat Plaza do have, but they jack up the price. For me, reasonable price for this lens will be around RM380-RM420, and they wanna sell me @ RM470, RM550.

Finally, I manage to get it at Shong Lee Photo @ 1 Utama. Reasonably priced @ RM390. Got 2 from them as 1 of it is for my cousin brother. There is a story behind this lens purchase. Will update you guyz soon as I'm quite lazy to type right now. ;D So, just cut the crap and see what the lens can do.

-Chok Chee Yung & Yong Sook Fen Wedding (Reception)-

Yeah, finally I'm revealing the event. Haha, what else? Wedding dinner lor, as usual. But this time it is my supervisor's sister wedding, and again I volunteered myself again as their photographer. It is held @ Kompleks 3K at Jalan Kewajipan. Its a little different because it is not held at those normal restaurants like tai thong etc etc. They rented a hall there and the food is done by the family, and I was surprised that the waiter and waitress are very close to the family.

Here are the photos that I would like to share with you guyz. I personally think that the photos aren't as good as before. What do you guyz think? Or it might be my expectation of myself has increased.

Caution: Food displayed are all in vegetarian. No meat allowed. More than halal.

It seems 23rd November 2008 is a good day for chinese as there are many people getting married today. Just around my housing area, there are 2 family that getting married. It was a normal sunday evening, and it was raining around KL area. People say if it is raining on your big day, it is a good sign, as it also means many 'water'. So me and my mum reach the restaurant around 7.45pm, got ourselves a nice seat. There are 2 official photographers there, 1 using canon 1D series. Thats when I decided to eat all out and just keep my camera inside my bag for most of the time. Its something like 'simpan kulit' lah. Anyhow, still manage to capture some shots, and I would like to share with you guyz.

..It is the last day at school. As usual, the bell rangs and the students gather for assembly.

They sang 'Negaraku' and their school anthem, and the prefect will read the 'ikrar' as usual days. After all the normal assembly procedures, the students are allowed to go back to their own classes.

But the discipline teacher insist on a spot check.

Again the casualties: Hair too long.

And 2nd casualty goes to him for being too sexy.

So after the spot check, the students climb the 3 story high building.

To get back to their class.

The class teacher came in and take the attendance for the day.
Teacher: Lam Tuck Chuan

Present!

But some of them still playing around.

Teacher: Oi, you dua orang pergi duduk tempat sendiri. Belasah baru tau.

And so, the class starts. Chemistry! The teacher prepares a special presentation to the students for the last day. Co2 + ABc + Cendol = 23410C3 = MCC

But most of them went to the biology lab and get some alcohols to celebrate.

After few hours later, and it's time to go home.

The students decided to take a group photo for memory.

Some of them miss their friends.

Some of them thinking of how they study last time.

But for the team leader, he miss his gangsterism era.

Some thinking back would they be able to dance like that after 10-20 years?

-Improve yourself everyday!-

As the title says to improve yourself everyday. Little by little, bit by bit, you'll be amazed what you can achieve.

This is what I learn today. As I was surfing around the net for photos as my samples, some of the edge of the photos has been modified to a little darker. I seriously don't know how to explain by words, but later when you see the photo you will understand. So, a colleague of mine, Gary, taught me how to modify the photos as I mentioned above. On the Adobe Lightroom, there is an option 'Vignettes' (Wth is that?). Just drag around as you like. As I was playing with it, only a word can express my feeling. 'WOW!'. I've never been exposed to any Adobe software previously, and I'm really amazed on what it can do to our photos. Users can even play around with the exposures if the shot was underexposed. Enough for the wordings now as I think this is the longest post that I had in words. Below are the edited photo for you guyz to enjoy. Original shot can be found at Kennie & Oil Wedding posts.

....Still, there is still an obstacle before the team leader get his payload and head back to the base. There is still a door that need a password to enter.

Team Leader: Password? Easy lar. Should be my name. 'Kennie!'

Teet! 2 tries left

The team leader looks worried now and start to think what is the possible answer, again he tries.
Team Leader: 'I love you!'

Teet! 1 try left

And for the last try, he screams
Team Leader: 'OPEN SASAME!!'

Yes, he succeed, and he is now a step nearer to his payload.

According to the scientist research, the species 'Female' are highly sensitive towards several items. They will be very happy to receive it.
1st: Flowers

2nd: Shiny shiny items. The heavier they are, the better.

The team leader thank the team member for participating in this 'dangerous' mission.

And so, they head back to their base for reporting.

Here are some of the conversations........again.
Team Leader: Pak Guard, you lagi!
Pak Guard: Yealor, saya lagi. Itu kopi tadi sudah minum, tak cukup 'KAW' mar.
Team Leader: Nah, ini kasi you minum lagi. Cukup untuk kamu minum 1 tahun.
The team leader also believes that small fortune din go out, big one wont come in.

Ei darling, we must go make some money already. You see your car got hole on top and it's very hot inside.

From my experience, this 'serving tea' business is extremely profitable, and only can be done once in the lifetime.

3rd item: Golds
And 5 minutes later......

It multiplies!!!! This proves that my theory is correct.

Kennie: Thank you darling. You should be working very hard just now to carry heavy heavy items on your neck.
Oil laughing silently: Its my pleasure.

Ei darling, how long you have bought this flowers ar? Seems like got cacing one.

So, after a long day, they decided to get some sleep before proceeding to the celebration in few hours time.

Or maybe some other activities involved. :p

So this is the workaround. Below are some conversation involved.

Team Leader: Boleh tolong ar?
Pak Guard: U macam mana mau saya tolong?
Team Leader: Nah, ini kasi you minum kopi.
Pak Guard turns around and pretend didn't see anything. Malaysia Boleh!

November 2nd, 2008, Sunny. It is Kennie & Oil's big day. I volunteered as their 2nd photographer for the day. I was placed at Kennie's house as the official photographer Deven Lee is located at Oil's place. Below are some of the photos I would like to share with you guyz during the wonderful event.

I reached his house @ around 7.00am sharp and there are still no one there yet.

- Bee's Birthday Party -

Sorry for not updating my blog as I was quite busy for the past few days. Well Lets move on, it was Bee's birthday on the 31st of October, but he celebrated his birthday on the following day which is on 1st of November. It was his 24th birthday and about 25-30 friends attended. Entrance ticket will be a bottle of 660ml of beer, either Tiger or Carlsberg. It is a BBQ style party, but I din even manage to cook myself a chicken wing. But special thanks to bee's mum for preparing the lovely nasi lemak.

It was Deepavali on 27th October, and finally a public holiday after 3 weeks of full 5 days a week work, and it was sooo good that it's sticked together with weekend. Have a long holiday, but it was quite lazy to work on the following day. We (Blackforest FC team member) reached Skantha's open house @ Bangsar around 1pm. Some selected photos to be shared below.

The first thing that I notice is the house no. which is 118 (In cantonese, 'Everyday rich'). Couldn't believe that Indians do believe in 'feng shui'

As we walk in, I saw some of the wine and hard liquor bottles, and I was thinking, is this a wedding dinner?
